The opposing teams are computer-generated. At the end of the season, the best two teams advance to the BBL playoffs (best of 3). If you keep winning, you’ll compete in the Super Entire Nation Tournament and Ultra Grand Championship of the Universe Series! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION At our core, we are fans first – not just of video games, but of the Backyard Sports franchise. Fans have asked for accessible and legal ways to play their original Backyard titles for years, and we are excited to deliver. Without having access to the source code, there are hard limitations on the experience we can create. As an example, we can’t use the original 32-bit code to support modern macOS, as even with an incredibly clever wrapper, macOS can’t execute the binaries.

  • This is a great game, even better than the original Backyard Baseball. However, I'm suddenly having a problem while playing Season mode. In the fifth inning of my third season game, it won't stop crashing and now I can't even get into Season mode without a crash occuring. I hope this can be fixed.

  • Great nostalgia but bugs.. im 12 games into a season and currently in the middle of a game. every time I try to continue my game it just keeps playing the game intro over and over again. other than that it's great! Just takes a bit of getting used to tapping to do everything.

  • phenomenal that I get to play this on my phone. wish they could of added controller inputs on screen since they have big open spaces on the side. it's a little weird to tap where to pitch and bat when you can't see where you are tapping but at least you get to play it.

  • this was such a horrible game, and I waited too long to get my refund... so do not buy this game!!!! The game play is so slow, I had to play one game in 2 days. The options for all the sounds didn't work at all, i.e. when you turn off the background sounds, they don't turn off. To include on that, they have 2 chants in 3 different voices that constantly play! wanna batter wanna pitcher.... cmon devs.... you made us pay for this game and we all know there is better FREE GAMES than this.

  • I can't play the game without it crashing anymore. I get scumerror out of array pointers. bases are loaded and it happens when I get walked or hit it and the fielder grabs the ball.

  • Loving the nostalgia. This was a HUGE part of my childhood. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the lack of controller support. I installed this on an android device that has an integrated controller. I assume this is due to the lack of source code. Still worth it

  • game is fun like the old computer game back in the day. but the scumerror message after second playoff game is annoying. The error closes the app and the game reverts back to prior to playing the last game. After all the hours getting to that point to end in an error that should have been caught in beta testing prior to luanch.

  • lots of bugs. middle of the season and all of the season stats I had disappeared. balls being thrown way outside being called strikes. power hitters getting a well timed hit only for it to be an infield pop fly. same thing with the aluminum power bat, timing was perfect and it didn't even leave the infield. if they can patch everything I'll gladly give it 5 later but just too buggy at the moment

  • Overall it's almost identical to the original game. It's been bring back all the memories of my childhood. The biggest struggle is the constant crashes of the app. It's almost to the point of it being unplayable.

  • I loved playing this game on PC and was stoked to play this on mobile. unfortunately, I can't play this game. I can't swing the bat once the pitch is made. I don't know I'm doing something wrong, but there are no on screen buttons or options for it. what a shame.

  • a very fun game. it's very fun to get in to a to a season and play with both the regular cast and the mlb stars. the only issue I have is that some of the buttons are a little too small making it hard to pick characters and navigate the menus.
